The crisp air was laced with the scent of pine as Rachel and her family made their way to Whistler Blackcomb, a picturesque ski resort located in the heart of British Columbia.
The world around them had turned into a winter scene, with each tree covered in a thin layer of snow that sparkled in the soft light of the streetlights. It still felt like Christmas.
Following the Sea-to-Sky Highway from Vancouver to the resort had been an amazing trip, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the mountains along the coast.
As they arrived in the Whistler Village, the atmosphere was electric with holiday spirit. The town was full of life. There were lights hanging from every roof, and families and friends were laughing as they walked along the cobblestone streets.
