Suddenly, and completely against her will, Abby's body jerked towards the girl. She felt as if she was fighting an uphill battle against the limbs which no longer felt like her own with every step, struggling and failing to regain control. Staring at the girl moving ever-closer in her field of vision, Abby was filled with a deep sense of dread. With a herculean effort, she tried to turn and run away, but her legs just wouldn't listen to her.
She screamed at the top of her lungs: " Help! Someone help me!"
A noise behind her back made her look behind her, nearly too scared to see what it was. The scene made her almost throw up. Blood flooded out of the little girl's ears, eyes and mouth. She laughed like a maniac, a high, screeching sound that gave Abby a migraine, her mouth ripped open up to her ears and dripping red like the maw of a hungry viper. Slowly, the girl stepped towards Abby. Her whole body was paralyzed with fear as she stood there and stared at her impending doom.
"Is this how I'm going to die?" Abby idly wondered. The little girl reached out, landing a feather-light touch on Abby's cheek, then slid down to slowly hook a finger in the collar of her white T-shirt as she pulled her in. She said in a voice which a child should not have: "Why do you want to leave me?! Why do you want other people's help?! I will help you. You don't need anyone else." Abby looked at her confused. It wasn't what she expected.
Something cold rushed into her, spreading through her bones with a chill down her spine. She twitched, discomfited, and suddenly found she could move again. She turned tail and ran. The girl's heartbroken wails echoed behind her, but she dared not look back. "Why would you leave me? I can give you everything you want! Please, come back!"
Her face melted and reformed again and again, what could once be called pretty turning unrecognizable as her features contorted with rage. Her body bent and twisted at unnatural angles, getting onto all fours and crawling towards Abby, head spinning 180 degrees as she stared at her prey, unblinking.
Abby saw an opening on the other end of the room and ran as fast as she could toward it. The stone she was running on seemed harder and harder and the way to the door seemed longer and longer. Abby feared she wasn't going to make it. She felt something pulling her and looked
down. The little girl was hanging onto the bottom of her pants with a creepy smile. Abby panicked and ripped off her hem, sprinting towards the finish line without a moment to spare. The opening was right in front of Abby now. She ran forward and leapt into it, heaving a sigh of relief as a heavy stone door descended behind her.
Ding! "Hi, host. Congratulations on completing the first level without dying! Do you want to help your friends out? They are in a tough situation! Oh, wait, they're done now. They are in the lobby waiting for you, have a lovely time! Bye bye!"
"Wait, what the hell is this game and how do I leave? Where were you when I needed you? Hello?" Abby interrogated, but the system decided to ignore her.
Abby was teleported into a massive, dimly-lit room, dried blood stains everywhere. She spotted her friends in the distance. "Polina! Vicky! Thank God you guys are ok!" She ran towards them, but as she got closer she saw with increasing horror that Polina was lying in a pool of blood, one arm missing and cuts all over her body. Polina opened her eyes with difficulty, moaning: "Abby? Is- Is that you? You have to get out of here, this place is mad!" Next to Polina, Vicky's whole body was covered with burn marks and there was a hole through her stomach (just like Rengoku's). Vicky wheezed, her breath rattling through her chest: "Abby… Leave while you still can!" She implored, "this place is… not for humans…" Abby kneeled down and cradled them gently in her arms. Vicky used up her last bit of strength to leave a final message. "Abby, don't die." Then the light left from her eyes and she disintegrated into ashes. Polina with her final strength looked at Vicky's ashes and at Abby. she said her final words " Abby take our ashes and leave, when you got out give our ashes to our parents, thank you! Now this is bye forever." then just like Vicky she also disintegrated into ashes. The world went silent. Abby can't hear anything but her own breath.
She looked around and for the first time she felt that all her hopes left her body, like there is no joy in life. She left helpless and uncertain about what just happened. She called out " Polina? Vicky? " No one replied. Now she finally realized that her friends are all dead and never coming back. Abby broke out in tiers and sat down. She gathered up her friend's ashes and looked at them. She thought these were two teen aged girls in their best ages happy and lively now there are nothing but ashes. She cry for hours and hours as she thought of the time they first met, two girls just like her figuring out how to get out of this hell together and now only she is alive. She cried till she felt like she had no more tiers left and lost consciousness.
