"All right, you guys chat for a bit. I'll go prepare. Tonight, I'll personally cook," Natalie said.
"Haha... Adam, tonight you'll get to taste Auntie's cooking, better than those fancy restaurant chefs. And hey, join me for a drink," Peter said happily, revealing a rare smile.
"Hehe... of course, I wouldn't mind. Just hope your drinking capacity can keep up with mine, Uncle," Adam said, already contemplating whether to challenge Peter to a thousand cups without getting drunk.
"Haha... young lad, seems like you're brimming with confidence. Don't regret it later," Peter responded with a laugh.
Dinner was soon prepared, and everyone sat around the table. As expected, Natalie's cooking was indeed exquisite.
Once the food was served, Adam and Peter started drinking. After a few rounds, their relationship became even closer.
"Adam, don't just focus on drinking, eat more food," Mrs. Ye said, concerned, continuously putting food into Adam's bowl.
"Thank you, Grandma, I know how to eat," Adam replied with a smile.
"Uncle, this toast is for you," Adam raised his glass.
"Not bad, kid, cheers!" Peter took the glass with gusto, clinking it against Adam's.
This dinner brought Adam closer to Penelope's family, and even Penelope, who had been cold to him before, softened her attitude.
After dinner, Peter was already quite drunk, while Adam remained sober. After bidding farewell to the warm-hearted Grandma and Natalie, he rode back to school in Penelope's car.
"Thank you, Sister Penelope, for driving me back," Adam said politely as he got out of the car.
"Hmph!" Penelope snorted coldly, stepping on the gas pedal hard, ignoring Adam's presence. She was still upset with Adam for getting Peter drunk.
Adam sighed helplessly, then walked alone towards the school.
Meanwhile, at David's estate:
"Owen, do you know a young man named Adam?" David asked.
"Grandpa, are you talking about Adam, the third brother? We're roommates," Owen replied.
"Yeah, I met him today at the Jade Pavilion. He's quite an interesting young man. I want you to get to know him more. If you have the chance, bring him over to the house," David said.
"Okay, Grandpa, I will," Owen nodded.
"All right, you can go rest now," David waved his hand, signaling for Owen to leave.
Feeling slightly puzzled, Owen left the room. He didn't expect Adam to have such a connection with his grandfather.
"Third brother is becoming more and more mysterious," Owen sighed to himself.
On the other side, at Blake's mansion, in Brian's study:
"Dad, today that bitch Brittany got her hands on the emerald. Now Brittany's family's company will probably rise again. All our efforts before have been in vain. What should we do next?" Blake asked.
"Hmph! It's all because of you, you good-for-nothing! You're more trouble than you're worth! I told you to find a way to marry Brittany back, but you've made no progress so far," Brian scolded angrily.
"It's not all my fault! It's that guy named Adam who messed things up. Even when I wanted to buy the emerald, he wouldn't sell it to me. And that old man David is supporting him from behind, I can't do anything about it," Blake defended himself.
"We can't touch David for now, but that Adam needs to be taught a lesson. Leave this matter to me. What you need to do now is to continue pursuing Brittany. As long as you can get her, Brittany's family will be ours sooner or later," Brian decided.
"I understand, Dad. I'll make sure to capture Brittany as soon as possible," Blake promised, his mind filled with visions of Brittany's tempting body and enchanting face, eager to possess her and enjoy her beauty freely.
"Wake up! We're going to be late for class!" early in the morning, Adam walked into the dorm room carrying breakfast, his voice loud.
"When did you come back, Third Brother?" Oscar asked, getting up from bed.
"I came back last night, but you guys were already asleep," Adam replied.
"Third Brother, why didn't you go to class yesterday?" Miles asked.
"I had something to deal with, so I didn't go to class. By the way, where's Fourth Brother?" Adam asked.
"Fourth Brother went home last night," Oscar said.
"Oh, you two hurry up and get ready! After we eat, we'll go to class together," Adam said.
"Wow, this teacher is so beautiful!" Miles exclaimed softly.
"Yeah, she's incredibly attractive!" Oscar also marveled.
Adam silently watched the new English teacher, but his heart didn't flutter. He wasn't particularly interested in beautiful women because his heart was already occupied by Nicole.
"Adam, what do you think?" Owen asked quietly, seeming to seek his approval.
"Well, she's indeed very beautiful, but I don't pay much attention to appearances," Adam replied calmly.
"Oh, really?" Owen nodded with some disappointment.
"But, what about her teaching ability?" Adam inquired further.
"That... remains to be seen," Owen shook his head, looking somewhat worried.
The atmosphere in the classroom relaxed slightly as students anticipated the new teacher's performance. With the ringing of the bell, the new teacher began her first class of the day.
"Hello, everyone. I'm the new English teacher for today. My name is Sophia," the new teacher smiled as she introduced herself to the students.
"Alright, let's get started with today's lesson," Sophia began her teaching.
The woman had a graceful and exquisite appearance, with her hair pinned up at the back of her head with a jade hairpin, exuding a refined aura. Her eyes were bright and lively, revealing a hint of wit, clearly indicating that she was an extraordinary individual.
She was dressed in a white short dress, showcasing her elegant figure perfectly. The hem of her skirt reached just above her knees, and her long, slender legs were fully exposed.
Even Adam, who had encountered stunning women like Penelope, Brittany, and Nicole before, couldn't help but be momentarily stunned.
"Hello, everyone. My name is Ophelia, and starting today, I will be your teacher. I hope we can get along well in our future studies and life together," the woman said as she stood in front of the podium.
"Now, let's begin our class. If you have any questions, you can come to my office after class," Ophelia concluded, and the class began.
Two class sessions passed quickly, and when Ophelia announced the end of class, the entire class looked reluctantly as she disappeared from the doorway, filled with admiration in their eyes.
"Is Adam here?" a clear and melodious voice came from outside the door, brightening everyone's eyes.
"Wow! Nicole is here! She finally showed up! Who is Adam? Why is she looking for him?" one excited male student exclaimed.
"Oh my goodness! Nicole is so beautiful! She's even prettier than in the photos! She's my idol!" a female student exclaimed in awe.
Adam heard someone calling him, looked up, and saw Nicole. His heart skipped a beat, and he quickly walked towards the door.
"Nicole, what brings you here?" Adam asked.
Nicole was dressed even more elegantly today, with a light makeup on her face, enhancing her beauty. However, she was wearing a long skirt today, covering her long, slender legs, which left Adam somewhat disappointed.
