The blade which greyish-blue streams of Elemental Energy had covered with bright blue highlights, erupted into a huge whirlpool upon stabbing the spider's back.
Arakaali howled in pain as the attack forced her flesh apart, destroying it with clumps of meat flying everywhere.
During this time, the Felidae had managed to get enough power for the next stage of his attack.
"Corrupted Kingdom of Britannia!" shouted Teemo, as he quickly swapped from defense to offense.
The Ankou forced himself to brace impact as he was forced to mitigate the entire spell from Arakaali.
The Felidae's sword had absorbed a large amount of the Mother of Webs' power while also mixing with his initial pool of Elemental.
When he called out the spell's name, Teemo then swung his sword, which had been transformed into a massive, holographic blade, upwards. The Felidae cursed as the blade was the heaviest thing he'd ever used to attack an enemy, nearly ripping both his arms off.
The spider screeched with pain as the blade slashed across her front body. With the pain of all attacking spells going at her, the Mother of Webs was unable to take it and collapsed onto the floor, landing on a pile of her own bludgeoned body parts.
"Did we succeed?" asked the Loplin, rushing to Teemo and Sander.
"Keep your guard up! Arakaali's Elemental Core hasn't been destroyed and she hasn't shown her true form yet so don't be too quick to stand down just yet!" yelled the Brine King as his blade looked primed and ready.
Just as Matt wanted to protest, the spider's limp body started to shake violently, as did her blown-up flesh. Horror wrecked through everyone's eyes as they witnessed the Mother of Webs' Ultimate form.
Her upper body had a deep gash and was gushing out blood but as the transformation started, the blood stopped flowing. Slowly, the flesh converged towards the humanoid piece and green Elemental Energy started pouring out, alerting the group to move away.
The pile of moving flesh then exploded, resulting in a giant, dense green cloud appearing.
"We've got a bit before she fully transforms... No point attacking her now as she's going to recover," said the Ankou.
"Wait! So where is her Elemental Core?" asked the rabbit as he loaded up his gun.
"I guess that she'd left it behind in her temple because I can't sense it anywhere on her..." said the Brine King as he rejoined the group.
"I'm barely standing... I don't have any power in me to pull off any more Sacred Embers..." complained the Loplin as he seemed out of breath.
"This girl doesn't have much either and I don't want to take over fully or else we've got consequences... However, if Arakaali doesn't retreat, we won't be able to," said the Brine King, sensing that Layla's control was fading.
"What kind of consequences are we talking about?" asked the Loplin, with a low growl in his throat.
"The kind that is better if it doesn't happen..."
"Can we at least contain her here? And how long is she going to fully be out of that cloud?" asked the Felidae, refusing to stand down with his blade.
"It is possible but-"
Everyone froze as someone appeared before Arakaali alongside a burst of white and yellow Elemental Aura surrounding the figure. The person sighed before taking down the cloak's hood, revealing a warm-skinned female with three pairs of white wings on her back.
Her hair was beige and done up in a single large bun while her eyes were gray. Her outfit was largely still hidden as she pulled out her weapon. The being held a massive war axe and raised it high, only to slam it down onto the ground.
The impact caused the floor around the being and the cloud to give way, resulting in both falling into the water body that Arakaali had come from.
"Damn it!" yelled the chat as he attempted to dive in.
"Are you insane?! You're a cat and you've got no affinity for water! You'll die before you can even lay a scratch on her!" shouted the Loplin as he grabbed Teemo by the collar.
"He's right; we can't blindly go after them. On top of it, Arakaali's levels increase twice as much when she is underwater. The only ones who can fight her and not die would be the Ankou and me. And we can't do that right now so the best choice to retreat..."
After saying that, the Brine King closed his eyes and relinquished the body back to Layla, allowing her features to return to normal. Matt quickly jumped towards the Dragoon to prevent her from falling.
"How much time do we have before the spider comes out or is she going to revert to her previous form?" questioned the Felidae.
