"You are no exception. Now then, let's do this… I'm getting hungry," stated Layla as she gathered up her Elemental Energy.
"I see… I think you and I can get along very well. The two males over there should get out of the way unless they'd like to be blown into bits," suggested the Dragfilla.
"What's your real name? I can't remember a foe if I don't have their name," asked Layla, with a small smile.
"I will keep it a secret until you've gotten past this trial," said the Mortician as he went into position.
He then slid his left foot away from his right and revealed what he had underneath his black cloak. Teemo noticed the items and tried to rush in to stop the fight but was blown away by the laughing enemy.
"Remember that you can't use the Brine King's Skillset, your body and mind will be affected," warned the Loplin before rushing to help the Felidae.
"I've got no choice… But I'll find a way to mitigate that," replied the Dragoon, as she closed her eyes.
"The Brine King isn't prone to negotiation... He is a creature of the deep, wrought with anger and revenge. He is not another shop owner."
Unfortunately, Mat''s warnings fell on deaf ears as the Dragoon tuned into her inner world.
"Oi, Brine King… Are you there?" asked Layla as she appeared into the grayish world again.
"I am not some kind of servant to be summoned. Tell me what it is that you need," answered a rather grumpy crab man.
"Well, you are trying to rise from the dead using my body whenever I use one of your spells… And speaking of so, I need to use the Fortress again. And for the days to come, I will use it but I do not wish for you to take over me."
"I will allow you to use it once today and we shall speak of this matter again next time. But keep in mind that you were the one who murdered me and I just want to walk the plains again…"
"Then walk with me."
Before Layla could continue, she quickly woke up to the Dragfilla in position as the wooden grave markers from underneath his coat flew out and formed a circle behind him. The Dragoon was fearful but quickly calmed her nerves as she raised her scythe high.
"All waves shall rise to my calling. I who hath governed the Kingdoms shall rise from the depths once more. The roars that echo throughout my walls shall be heard!" yelled out the Dragoon as her Elemental Energy turned into a grayish-blue with an aquamarine tinge.
Ribbons of it soon danced around her figure, wrapping themselves on her limbs and scythe. The Dragoon stepped forward slowly as the weight of her weapon began to increase.
"I am the one that you should fear, for I am a being your mind cannot comprehend… You can never escape my clutches. No matter how far you run, you will always find yourself running back to me," growled the Dragfilla as the wooden markers started spinning.
As the markers picked up speed, they started to form an emblem, using black and blue Elemental Energy. Sensing that he had seen the symbol before, the Loplin gripped onto his gun with anticipation and fear.
"Let us face catastrophe now, with the walls that were once mine!"
"I strike terror in all, death shall come before your dawn... Behold where the bells toll."
"Hail to the Seas! Rise and defend our Kingdom!"
"My Judgement," called out the enemy as he sliced the air before him with his weapon.
"Fortress of The Brine King!" finished Layla as she stabbed her scythe into the ground.
The makeshift streams and ribbons solidified into a mirage of a castle wall. An emblem appeared on the front, creating a round dome shield to pop out.
"That symbol is truly the Brine King's emblem… Looks like I found myself against him again. He ever so hates it when I decide to come out to play," muttered the Dragfilla as he smiled.
The Mortician's power was terrifyingly great as the wave of black and blue Elemental Energy rushed towards Layla's waiting fortress. The two spells collided, causing the entire cave to quake so badly that the rocks from the ceiling started to fall.
The Dragon's hands trembled as they withstood the might of the Dragfilla. That was when her castle walls started to strengthen by solidifying.
At the same time, Layla had felt a sudden wave of strength overcome her as if someone had forced her to absorb more Elemental Energy.
"I never expected him to still walk this realm... But since this is the case, I'm putting my all into this. Brace yourself, Layliasfield!" echoed the Brine King.
