Maya noticed how Diane's facial expression changed and quickly added. "No pressure about it. You are getting married to a good man. Just make a little effort to be a better partner to him."
"I know," Diane sighed. "I haven't even mentioned the 3-months programme that's going to keep us away from each other."
"Why?" Maya's brows furrowed. She didn't support this.
Diane turned her gaze to her and answered tiredly, "I keep forgetting to mention it whenever we get together."
"Then quickly give him a call now that you have remembered it. You mustn't wait to remember and talk about it only when you two are together," Maya suggested.
Diane released another deep sigh. "Matters like this are meant to be discussed face-to-face. But I think I will call him on video." Without wasting time, she picked up her things and walked away, leaving Maya to herself.
