"Stay away from women and you will live long," Robert replied. Nicholas was left speechless.
Shortly, Christian arrived and was escorted in by the butler.
Instantly, smiles appeared on the faces of the family of three when they sighted him.
"Robert, I'm so sorry I'm late for the dinner," Christian apologized as he embraced Robert before shaking his hand.
Robert chuckled heartily. "It's fine. You had a long day, come and sit." Immediately, he pointed at the empty chair on his left side. Ashley was pissed.
She had wanted to hug Christian and greet him properly but her father failed to understand her plans and stole him from her before she could make her move. She was oddly frustrated.
Reaching his chair, Christian first gave Nicholas a brotherly hug and shook her hands before sitting, much to Ashley's discontentment.
