Christian was silent over Diane's question while still staring into her eyes.
After a moment a moment had passed, his lips slowly parted, "Diane, what do married couples do?"
"There are so many things I can't keep count of," Diane replied. She had wanted to tell him that she wouldn't know since she has never been married, but then remembering all about Phillip, she felt her mood grow worse.
Seeing that she wasn't going to be direct with her response, Christian decided to help her. "Most married couples have sex, and we are going to do that."
Almost immediately, her nose scrunched up. She didn't seem to like how that sounded. "You do know that I can't have sex, right?" she asked.
He was aware of the problem she had in her first marriage, and she was just giving him a kind reminder, which would serve as enough time for him to back out of this marriage he wanted to venture into with her.
