"Call me, Nick. I don't mind," Nicholas insisted while smiling into the phone.
"Fine, Nick." Maya sighed softly. "Do you mind meeting to have a little chat?"
Instantly, Nicholas put an arm up in the air. He was thinking of inviting her out for lunch or dinner soon, and she made the first mood. At least that was a good thing since he didn't have to continue to be unsure if she would accept or reject his invitation.
"Why not," he replied. "I am at your service."
As soon as Maya got the green light, she quickly scheduled a meeting with him without giving him a hint of what she wanted to talk about just in case he had other ideas.
Maya whistled as she walked into the kitchen. She caught Diane trying to fry an egg and with a knife in her hand and quickly matched up to her.
"What are you trying to do?" she asked as she came to stand beside her.
