Two hours later, an exhausted Diane and the happy twin boys returned.
As soon as they walked through the doors, Sarah cast her gaze on them immediately, she noticed the weariness on Diane's face.
"Why does your gaze look tired? Did they give you a headache?" She asked.
Diane didn't answer her until she plopped herself on the couch. "I never want to go out with the boys alone. Can you believe they cried for sprinkles when I was being careful with their sugar intake because of a cavity?"
Diane was still shocked by what happened at the ice cream shop. Those children gaze at her a fright.
"Did you give in?" Sarah asked, trying to hold back a chuckle.
"I had no choice. I was so embarrassed by their loud wailing plus all the wandering gazes on me that I had to give them everything they wanted."
