If it wasn't for the fact that Maya wouldn't want to cause any problems for Nick as he has been a good friend and business partner, she would have played the dirty game of a mistress and frustrated Jessica to the ends of the earth.
Unfortunately, she was not up for bringing trouble to an innocent person.
Jessica was but a pretty face who probably had an empty head. Maya felt that Ashley was smarter than her.
After chatting for a bit, Christian excused them and took Diane away.
Instead of following them like before, Maya who felt like making trouble turned to Nick and offered him a smile.
"Nick, do you have a moment? There is something I need to talk to you about urgently. Business-wise."
"Oh…" Nick drawled as his brows furrowed slightly. "Alright then." He quickly agreed and turned to Jessica who didn't look one bit pleased with the interference. "Give us a moment. I will join you soon."
