Susie was so happy to welcome Diane into her home.
It was nothing surprising that she loved Diane so much. She has always loved her for a very long time.
Diane was equally happy with her warm welcome. Being in a better relationship with someone from Christian's family felt good. It made her feel accepted.
"The chef made Poutine and Montreal smoked meat. Now that you are in Canada, you need to have a first taste of their food properly made by an expert," Susie said to Diane.
Christian was the one who quickly responded. "We haven't had proper food since we left Paris. Please give us what you have."
"I will set the table," Sarah said from the side and left.
Since they arrived, she hadn't said a lot of words, but at least she did well accepting Diane's greeting. It left Christian relieved.
