Celine and Michael cast their gaze on Brian hearing him bring up such a question out of the blue.
Celine looked more shocked than Michael. "Where is this coming from?" She questioned with a deep frown etched on her brows.
She didn't look pleased.
Even Diane was taken aback by that random question and had a look of curiosity.
To her, Brian must have thought their parents were getting a divorce after witnessing them ignore each other all morning. But to her surprise, it wasn't so.
"I overheard you and Dad fighting on the stairs last night before I went into my bedroom to retire for the night," Brian spoke carelessly as he shoved a spoonful of food into his mouth.
The rest looked on in astonishment except for Michael who didn't look like he was ready to deny or defend his claims.
"We had a little issue last night. We are not getting a divorce," Celine said defensively, picking back her cutlery from her place.
