The word 'No' was already at the tip of Diane's tongue when Christian rubbed his thumb at the back of her palms, signaling her to go ahead.
Diane swore that she would leave her mother's side if she dared to make any wrong statement, so she left Christian and went over.
She almost said her mind out to her mother but changed her thoughts a second later. There was no need to give that woman a hint when she could directly do whatever her mind says if she messed up.
Surprisingly, Celine didn't utter a word to her after she settled next to her. That made Diane wonder what she had achieved by asking her to sit next to her.
