As expected, Celine changed into her sportswear but refused to join them on the court. She sat on the side to read a business book while occasionally throwing glances their way.
She felt so irritated but couldn't leave all thanks to her husband who wasn't ready to hear any excuses from her.
Christian was so terrible at his game that he made his teammate Brian keep losing despite his efforts as an experienced player.
"I bet Diane is low-key happy that she doesn't have to team up with you," Brian said during their few-minute break.
Christian chuckled softly and followed his gaze to Diane who looked very excited as she gave her dad a high-five.
"What do you think will happen if I ask to pair with her?" He asked with his gaze still on the little woman who was all smiles while going to pick a bottle of spring water to drink.
Brian smiled. "You seem to not know your wife very well. She hates to lose, so I think she won't oblige to your demands."
