Diane read the headline and a few paragraphs before returning the phone to Tricia.
"I thought I had seen it all, how far he is willing to go for his selfishness, but it looks like I've been oblivious to it," Diane said.
Phillip only ran out to defend her publicly because someone came after him. He wouldn't have bothered about her if he was still safe and sound in one corner.
Diane didn't even need to check who published the news about him. She felt he deserved that much.
"Men like him will eat shit just to protect their ego and honour," Tricia added.
"Men like who?" Christian asked as he suddenly appeared before them with his hands deep in his pockets. His brows were raised in curiosity.
"Mr. Knowles!" Tricia called out excitedly before shifting her gaze to Diane. "We were talking about scumbags."
"Scumbags?" Christian lifted his brow as he moved his gaze from Tricia to Diane who had a warm gaze resting on him. "Care to fill me in?"
