With Diane preparing for her trip in two weeks, she had a little shopping to do therefore, she called Maya to join her in the mall.
"Are you going to shop for new dresses?" Maya asked despite wondering when she would have the time to wear them and the places she would wear them to.
"Definitely," Diane replied. "I'm not going to Canada to work in the hospital, I'm going for a program remember?"
In summary, they were not in the mall to buy scrubs and comfortable footwear like ugly Crocs. They were there for something real.
"Thank God!" Maya heaved a sigh. "I always felt compelled to ask you to quit your job."
"Why?" Diane glanced at her before fixing her gaze ahead. She left them in a Gucci store.
"You reek of money yet you don't spend much on fashion items because your entire life is practically dedicated to the hospital."
