Returning to the hall, Diane came to an understanding of what the jealousy of a woman can make her do. But soon, she stopped feeling bothered after Christian came to her.
They had their last dance and did the closing remarks and toasts.
Before leaving, Ashley and her family came up to Christian and Diane.
"Congratulations once again," Robert said with a proud smile as he shook Christian's hand. "And thank you for making time to attend our wedding," the latter said to him with a smile of appreciation.
"There is nothing to thank me for. You are like a son to me," Robert stated. "I shall take my leave now. Enjoy your honeymoon. Both of you."
Robert left first, leaving Nick and Ashley behind.
Nick dipped his hand inside the inner pockets of his suit jacket and took out an envelope before passing it straight to Christian.
"A gift from Heirs Group of companies to you and your wife, Diane," he revealed.
