"Would you like to spend the night together?" Diane asked as she climbed into bed next to him.
"That's what I'm here for," Christian flashed his row of white teeth as he raised the duvet for her to get in.
Seeing her settled, he in, he turned to his other side to turn off the lights before getting in.
"It's almost midnight. We have a long day tomorrow," he said as he brought her into his arms and wrapped another arm around her before leaning in to place a soft kiss on the top of her head.
In actual sense, he meant, 'Let's go straight to bed' and how could Diane not understand that language being an adult?
Diane was surprised that he didn't plan to do anything with her despite the hints she dropped for him.
Even though it might look like he was doing all that for her own good, she couldn't help getting slightly mad at him.
