Even in the past, Diane wasn't close to Ava the way she was to Susie hence the reason she reached out for a handshake.
But seeing the other woman envelop her in a warm hug, a smile turned up at the corner of her lips. "Thank you for coming."
"You're welcome, Darling." Ava kissed both cheeks before pulling out a chair for herself. "Once again, I'm sorry for coming fashionably late."
"Your sins have been forgiven," Susie replied with a proud nod and got an eye roll from Ava as a response.
"I don't think my asking for forgiveness has any business with you. Just turn your ears away. Thank you," Ana said to her before turning her attention back to Diane.
All the nervousness Diane had been feeling prior to meeting both Christian's sister and his cousin flew out of her chest. In fact, she thought she was going to have a very interesting day with them.
