"I am an expert at reading faces," Tricia replied confidently. "So, is there any man coming after you lately?"
Diane suddenly felt guilty. Tricia has been a good friend to her since they have known each other, but she has always kept her at arm's length.
She was imagining how she would feel learning that her guess was right.
Thinking of a way to manage the situation, Diane forced a smile. "Do you have time during our lunch break to sit and chat? I have something important to tell you."
"Really?" Tricia eyed her as the smile on her face widened. She could sense that her guess was right since Diane wasn't admitting or denying it. "That's fine. I will come join you in your office then."
Diane agreed with a nod. About a minute later, they separated and both went into their different offices.
