"Uncle Charlie?" Toby called from behind them, standing at the door side,
On hearing Toby's voice, they both instantly separated from each other but it was already too late to shield the little one from knowing about their secret,
"Hey buddy, wha—what are you doing here?" Charlie faltered,
"I should be the one asking you that question, Uncle Charlie. What are you doing in the kitchen with no shirt on?" Toby strode in, his eyes only on Charlie,
Charlie suddenly felt skittish, "Oh. Um, I'm just…" He struggled to find the right words but his head was suddenly blank, he glanced at Alice for help but she instantly avoided his gaze which really didn't go well with him.
"It's okay, don't be shy," Toby smiled, "I'm just here to let Nanny Alice know that Ruby is really hungry and won't stop crying for her food," Toby expressed and hustled out of the kitchen almost immediately,
Alice sighed with a laugh, "Do you think he is going to tell his Mom?"
