After a night of rest, the group broke camp and prepared to return to Celdrom. Anon, the enigmatic guide, spoke with a mysterious air of certainty.
"Now that we have camp set up and have gotten a good night's sleep, let's head back to Celdrom. We have a man waiting there," Anon declared.
Vman's curiosity piqued. "You do? What's his name?"
Anon's response was veiled in mystery. "I'm not sure. I have been led here by visions of mine; however, we will find out when we get there."
Jimothy, ever curious, asked about the visions. "Visions? What about visions?"
Anon remained cryptic. "I will give no comment on the matter. All you need to know is that I have visions."
With no further questions, the group made their way back to the city of Celdrom. Their path led them to the ruins of the once-grand castle where the former king had resided.
Vman couldn't help but voice his confusion. "Why is the castle so destroyed and ruined?"
Jimothy offered his insight. "I think it was the war of the puppets."
Anon nodded in agreement, confirming Jimothy's statement. "Yes, correct, However lets get on topic. A certain man will come here and meet us. I want you to act like you just met him, and you have never heard of him before."
As they approached the castle, a mysterious figure clad in chrome armor approached the group, his voice filled with urgency.
The Mysterious Man questioned them anxiously, "Have you guys seen a red orb? Did you touch it?"
Vman, playing his part, acted clueless. "What are you talking about? We came here to find some tools in the wreckage to sell!"
Anon, communicating mentally with the others, guided their responses. "Perfect topic, Vman. Roll with it, Jimothy!"
Jimothy, also playing a role, replied smoothly. "We never saw any red orbs; however, I found a few weapons if you are interested."
The Mysterious Man pressed further, asking for their names.
Jimothy continued the charade. "My name is Jimothy."
Vman played along. "And I'm Vman."
Anon, in character, introduced himself. "The name's Anon. I am the mentor of these two."
The Mysterious Man introduced himself as Chromdome, explaining his purpose with urgency.
"Well, the name is Chromdome. Nice to meet you! I've been looking for a red orb, and I was wondering if you could help me search for one!"
Anon, still in character, agreed cautiously. "Well, sure, but if you find anything else, you are giving it to us."
Chromdome accepted their terms. "Alright then, we will split up the castle into parts. You will split up and search your own part, okay?"
Anon, Vman, and Jimothy agreed and began their search. Jimothy stumbled upon a hidden tunnel leading to a cellar.
Excitedly, Jimothy called out, "Hey, guys! I found a cellar underground!"
The group gathered around Jimothy and, with cautious curiosity, opened the cellar entrance. Chromdome's excitement grew.
Chromdome exclaimed, "THIS MUST BE IT! The orb is down here for sure!"
Anon, ever the cautious one, asked, "What's the orb for..."
Chromdome explained the significance. "They sealed a powerful drift known as the puppet master down here; one of the great four drift users had it!"
Anon urged caution. "Well, then we should be careful. I studied drifts; they hold strange properties."
Chromdome was dismissive. "You wouldn't know the first thing about drifts; I have studied them my whole life."
As they explored further, Jimothy went off from one of the corridors and made a significant discovery.
Excitedly, he called out, "Guys, I found the drift!"
Jimothy's arm began to glow, a mysterious power emanating from within him. He quickly concealed it, before the group rushed inside, their curiosity piqued.
Chromdome's amazement was palpable. "Well, I'll be damned, here it is, and at 85% of its power. That's rare."
Anon, always practical, urged Chromdome on. "Well, what are you waiting for? Hold it up and show us!"
