After saying my piece about the notes I had left behind for Vincent, I finished up my breakfast, gave Schnitzel a few head pats, and then put her down before walking over to the couch where I had abandoned my backpack the night before.
Scooping it up, I didn't wait for Renni and Vincent to finish eating and immediately made my way out the front door before walking down to the car alone.
