In the United States, from the moment we can form our first cognitive thoughts, around the ages of 5-6, children are placed in institutions where they will spend the remainder part of their childhood and teenage years.
These institutions create not only a learning environment but also a social one where children form bonds and respond to the world around them. Sure, sometimes kids fall through the cracks; hell, that's why the government drafted a bill called the "No Child Left Behind Act."
Be it public, religious, or private institutions, the government mandates that every single person MUST attend one, where they are to learn the so-called way of the world. Through many, many years of technical brainwashing, information is, for lack of a better term, downloaded into the young minds, shaping them into the drones of society that the government requires to function.
