Vyran
I gasped as my brain chip presented me with several immediate futures, all ending in beams striking Valkyrie. I needed to act fast or I would die. With a quick mental command, I activated Valkyrie's defensive systems, forming a protective forcefield around the mecha to shield against the incoming fire.
The beams from the Titanos ships struck the forcefield, their energy dispersing harmlessly around us. I could feel the strain on Valkyrie's systems, but the forcefield held strong. I had to get out of this situation and fast.
I smiled and touched the lacrima orbs embedded in my chair, channeling the cosmic radiance into the crystal orbs. The energy surged through me, empowering Valkyrie with a newfound strength. The mecha let out a powerful hum as the forcefield shimmered with renewed energy.
As the Titanos ships continued their relentless assault, several mechas flew out from the enemy vessels, their blades gleaming in the darkness of space. They aimed to cut through my forcefield and take me down. But I was prepared.
With a focused mind and the cosmic radiance at my command, I unleashed a powerful blast of energy from Valkyrie, sending a wave of cosmic light towards the enemy mechas. The energy surged forward, repelling the attackers and sending them spiraling back.
The forcefield held strong against the assault, and I seized the opportunity to turn the tide of the battle. Guiding Valkyrie with precision and skill, I charged towards the Titanos ships, the cosmic radiance swirling around me like a protective shield.
With a resounding battle cry, I cleaved through the enemy vessels, the cosmic energy cutting through their hulls like a hot knife through butter. Explosions erupted in the void of space as the Titanos ships were torn asunder by the power of the cosmic radiance.
The remaining enemy forces faltered, their resolve shaken by the display of power before them. I pressed the advantage, engaging the enemy mechas with a relentless onslaught of cosmic energy. The beams of light lanced out, striking true and sending the attackers reeling back.
As the battlefield cleared, I took a moment to catch my breath, the cosmic radiance still coursing through me. The enemy forces had been vanquished, and Valkyrie stood strong amidst the wreckage of the defeated Titanos ships.
I glanced at the crimson atmosphere of Sotes-3.
My eyes widened as my body began to convulse. Dang it. I went ahead and overdid it again. Cosmic radiance was powerful, but my body wasn't strong enough to contain it.
"Head to Sote-3," my mumbled.
Valkyrie heeded my command and began to fly towards Sotes-3, a massive purple mecha suddenly appeared before me. My heart raced as I realized I had missed one of the enemy's reinforcements. I cursed under my breath, the strain of maintaining the cosmic radiance and the physical toll it was taking on my body becoming increasingly unbearable.
With sheer willpower, I focused my thoughts, unleashing bursts of normal photon energy from Valkyrie to counter the attacks of the purple mecha. Every movement sent waves of pain through me, but I couldn't afford to falter. If I did, it would mean the end of me.
As the fight dragged on, my cybernetic vision began to blur, the strain on my body becoming too much to bear. I gritted my teeth, pushing through the pain as I struggled to maintain control of Valkyrie and fend off the enemy mecha.
In the midst of the chaos, a blurry image appeared before me. Through the haze, I could make out the figure of a red-haired girl, her presence ethereal and fleeting. My mind reeled as I tried to process the vision, the name "Sarai" whispering in my thoughts.
"Sarai?" I called out, my voice filled with a mix of confusion and longing. But before I could make sense of the vision, darkness closed in around me, and I felt consciousness slipping away.
The last thing I heard was the hum of Valkyrie's systems before everything faded to black, and I succumbed to unconsciousness.

Day PoV
I frowned as the ship descended the atmosphere of Sotes-3. I couldn't help but think of Vyr.
I frowned as the ship descended through the crimson atmosphere of Sotes-3, my thoughts consumed by Vyran and the dangerous situation he was facing. The image of his determined face flashed through my mind, and I couldn't help but worry about his well-being.
"Lia, do you think Vyran will be okay?" I asked, my voice tinged with concern.
Lia glanced at me, her expression reflecting my own worry. "I'm sure he'll be fine, Day. Vyran's a skilled pilot and he knows how to handle tough situations."
I nodded, trying to push aside my fears. Vyran's decision to distract the entire platoon of Titanos ships was risky, but I trusted in his abilities. Still, the thought of him facing such overwhelming odds alone gnawed at me.
"Wilneth, how's Vyran holding up out there?" I asked, turning to the commander for reassurance.
Wilneth's eyes flickered to the tactical display, she snickered. "Seems like he's doing just fine, Day. Vyran knows how to handle himself in a fight."
I tried to take comfort in Wilneth's words, but the tension in the air was palpable. As we watched the ships in space explode in waves of powerful light, a sense of relief washed over me.
A small smile tugged at my lips at the sight of the enemy ships being destroyed, a testament to Vyran's skill and determination. But even as I celebrated the victory, my thoughts remained with Vyran, hoping and praying for his safe return. But beneath the surface, my worry for Vyran lingered, a nagging fear that refused to be silenced.
As the ship continued its descent towards the surface of Sotes-3, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of my stomach. Vyran may have faced the enemy head-on, but the battle was far from over. And until he was back safely by our side, my worries would not rest.
