The moment we stepped on the other side of the door, darkness entered my vision. I immediately summoned some balls of flame to ignite the entire area.
"This room…" Ana said in a shocked voice.
Currently, me and Ana stood in a room covered with cables from the bottom of the floor to the ceiling. Almost every inch of the room was covered by thick, black cables.
All of them possessed varied lengths and were sprawled on top of each other. Small gaps were present in between the cables otherwise no space was present for anyone to move.
I made sure that none of my flames came closer to the cables in case they caught fire.
"How is this possible?" Ana questioned.
"It's magic. Each room in this skyscraper is full of mysterious traps and hurdles. Some of the rooms contain a clue and the only way to get the clue is to clear the task present in that room." I explained.
