Glitch shook his head. "Nah, I will create a safe path for you."
Their faces fell, but Glitch did not care. He would not spend a fourth of his earnings on transportation alone.
Glitch handed his adventurer license to the head worker and added, "One more thing. It would be better if you could have multiple carts on standby. I don't want to waste much time standing next to a corpse."
The leader nodded his head. "No problem, sir." Most adventurers said the same thing to him, but he was not worried. They took more time to hunt a single rabbit than it took his workers to carry the corpse back to the campsite for two rounds.
The head laborer looked back and shouted, "Ronny, take your boys and follow this, sir."
Glitch looked in the laborers' direction and saw a bulky man nodding his head. The guy then called out three more, and the four of them picked a hand cart and rushed beside him.
