Lucian, ever the light-hearted soul, was in the midst of telling a joke, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "So, the mage says to the warrior, 'Why did you bring a sword to a spell fight?' And the warrior says, 'Because it's spell-ting!'"
Nyx chuckled softly, but Jade rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed. She leaned closer to Nyx, her voice a low whisper, "Does he ever shut up?"
