Zemin saw what the Void System meant—the energy that shielded him was evaporating like morning dew under the midday sun.
Before his body joined it, Zemin scanned the Void Dimension for the streams of energy that pointed at Void Portals. It helped that he had some practice in the fight with Pale earlier—Zemin found the last portal he opened in Glass Fields in no time.
Moving there was harder, since there was no "space" in the Void, and therefore, no movement. But Zemin could reach out with his soul, and his body followed it.
With a bout of vertigo, Zemin fell right into a pile of something red and squishy. Swallowing a mouthful of bile, Zemin pulled himself to his knees, trying to not put his hands into any distinguishable pieces of gore in the process.
'So this side of our dimension really didn't break apart. That's a relief.'
