Not only was it incredibly reckless, but staring into Angor's yellow beast-like eyes, Zemin knew that this was exactly what the demon wanted. These words, that posturing—it could have been nothing but an attempt to bait Zemin into attacking.
Angor's smile fell for a moment, but he quickly regained his cockiness. Then he sidestepped a shot from a railgun, dancing around Zemin and off-handedly striking anyone close enough.
The demon's speed was too high for Zemin to even try attacking with his weapons. The Psionic could only track him with his eyes and be ready to block an inevitable attack.
