Once the EGW was effectively in a wet state, Veronica quickly followed up with Lightning Bolt, striking the wet EGW.
Upon contact, the wet EGW's movement became slowed, and was electrocuted in the process. Its stone structure started showing some signs of charredness, clearly showcasing the electrocution elemental reaction was working.
However, the team couldn't enjoy the achievement much longer once the wet EGW started to change form.
"What the heck?" Ardent Lance, who was closest to the wet EGW, was dumbfounded that the elite enemy was capable of changing form.
The charred stone area was quickly detached from its body and replaced with another new stone that was obtained from the ground. Additionally, the wetness state seemed to have dissipated upon the change.
And when Carmen tried to utilize the same method again, the EGW seemed to be expecting it and easily disintegrated the Elementalist and fueled itself up to vaporize the water residue.
