It's been a year since Whitney started working with us and so far she has proved herself as a worthy worker, but I was afraid she would make me be regarded less and take my best brain position from me. Yeah! I can be that petty. There was a competition for a project and oh yes I was part of it. I wanted to be still regarded as the best brains 🧠 of Vista Grande so I used all my connections and money 💵 to better my ideas .Yes the competition was that important and yes it was my own idea, I just needed opinions and corrections that's why I made use of all the resources available. We had two days more to present our ideas. I've been channeling my energy to my projects and not only me but those with key positions except for my father ,since he was the chairman.
The next day we all presented our ideas to the chairman except Whitney, who didn't show up at work today. After presenting the ideas, my dad went through all and finally decided to use mine and not because I was his son. My father doesn't do exceptions for anyone not even me. I was so glad I still maintained my position as the best brains. I went home finally refreshed and decided to celebrate 🎉 with my team. We went out for dinner 🍽️ and all.

As the competition drew closer, Vista Grande employees were also restless, is not that we were not the best it's just that the competition was very grand. As the day finally arrived, representatives from various companies met at the August occasion to see who would win the project. It was when each representative was presenting their works that I realized my idea was rejected. So whose idea was that? Well, there was only one person who was not present during the presentation in the company -Whitney. Yes, she finally did it. She succeeded in taking that position from me. I have never been this angry before, never in my lifetime. She had to pay for winning that prize 🏆. How could my father give me the taste of victory and take it back without warning ⚠️. Everything was fine until she decided to show herself. I couldn't make all my efforts go down the toilet 🚽 .There was only one thought 💭 in my head, how to make Whitney pay. I had to fire her before she does something that would stain my reputation but it has to be reasonable else my father would be angry and disappointed with me since he had taking an interest in her. I thought hard and finally came up with the best idea. It has to be effective.
The next day came earlier than I expected. My goal fulfilling day. Today is the day am going to fire Whitney. And I won't explain anything to her since I owe her no explanation. A good deed shouldn't be paid with a bad deed, and she did exactly that. She took my best brain 🧠 position after I gave her a place in my empire. So am just returning her favour. I arrived at the office and called for her. But she wasn't present. See, one reason why I should have fired her long ago. Minutes later I called again and it went through. I asked her to come to my office ASAP. And she did immediately after I hung up. If only she knew what was coming. "You are fired" I said. "Sir, what did you say" she asked. "Do you need an ear clean up or washing? How many times do you expect me to say one thing?"I replied. What at all is wrong with this girl. "Pack your things and leave my company" I repeated. " But sir why are you firing me I haven't done anything wrong"she said. Is this girl challenging my authority. " You haven't done anything? Go now before I ask the guards to help you" I spat. She was getting on my nerves. Why can't she just comply to simple instructions. Such a nuisance. You should have seen her face as she hurried out of my office. Was the job that important to her? If yes, then she should have know better than to compete with me for the same title. I sighed in relief. Finally the obstacle is gone I can now have the title to my self. Yes is that important to me. I just hope she won't run crying to my dad about this issue even if she does I can find my way out since the explanation I have in my head is flawless.
