His gaze wandered down to his injuries - bruises, cuts, and burns from the fierce battle with the ghoul. They were healing right before his eyes. The scorched wound on his shoulder, still tender from the ghoul's energy beam, knitted itself back together. The deep gash along his side was also closing up, leaving not a trace behind. Within minutes, he looked as good as new.
'Elven healing... truly amazing,' he thought, marvelling at the warm, soothing energy flowing through his body. It wasn't just any kind of healing - Ryan was directly channelling the power of the World Tree in his Mana Ring.
