Ryan materialised beside Jasmine, his eyes narrowing as he took in the strange surroundings. "What is this place?" he asked, scanning the eerie landscape. The air was thick with ominous energy, and the ground beneath them seemed to pulse with a life of its own.
Jasmine was momentarily startled by his sudden appearance. 'How did he manage to slip into this space?' she wondered, her thoughts racing. But before she could ask or respond to Ryan, a giant creature, a grotesque amalgamation of flesh and fury, lunged at them.
The monster was vaguely humanoid but twisted, its flesh growing and protruding unnaturally. Ryan didn't hesitate. Channelling mana around his body, he struck the creature's abdomen with a powerful blow, sending it staggering backwards. The impact rippled through the beast, causing it to vomit a grotesque mixture of blood and bile.
It was the Delayed Impact Strike he had used against the golems in the maze.
