As the piercing scream echoed from the upper floor, Ryan sprang to his feet, his gaze locking on his brother. Alex, sporting the same green eyes and dark hair as his younger sibling but with a sharper, more mature appearance, couldn't help but tease.
"So my little brother already has a girl over," he smirked.
"Yeah, haha," was the anxious response Alex received.
Ryan, not wasting a moment explaining the situation to his brother, ran up the stairs in a split second. He had no desire to cause unnecessary concern, and he was more worried about the potential consequences should the woman in his room unleash her formidable powers. The entire house and perhaps even their entire neighbourhood might fall to fiery ruin.
Meanwhile, for Alex, the wheels of thought turned as he watched his brother's swift reaction.
