Chapter 50 - That's It!

In the heart of the newly transformed Pocket World, Ryan and Elora gazed in wonder at the creation before them. What began as a faint imitation of Yggdrasil, the legendary World Tree of Aria, had evolved into something beyond their wildest dreams.

Elora, with her Elven lineage, initially held a particular scepticism. She had envisioned a hollow shell or, at best, a feeble echo of Yggdrasil's majesty. However, the reality far exceeded her expectations. Their creation was an entity unto itself, a living testament to their extraordinary achievement.

It was a collaborative effort, each of their unique attributes contributing to the miraculous genesis. Elora, the spark and catalyst, brought her Elven Blood and expertise to the mix. The Pocket World's core, rooted in Ryan's authority and the golden mana of his Mana Ring, served as the foundation. Ryan's blood then further ignited the process, acting as a key to unlock the world's potential.

The result was nothing short of breathtaking. The World Tree stood before them, radiant and splendid, casting an ethereal glow that bathed the Pocket World in its celestial luminescence. Waves of mana and energy pulsed from it, creating a rhythmic heartbeat of vitality.

Ryan, his Mana Vision revealing the unseen, watched in amazement as the roots of the World Tree extended to the very boundaries of the expanding Pocket Space. Nature, vibrant and untamed, responded to the newfound presence with renewed growth and energy.

In the aftermath of the wondrous event, Ryan and Elora could not help but talk about the significance of their creation. Elora's heritage, marked by her royal bloodline, loomed as a potential explanation for the extraordinary occurrence...

-

Elora, with a tinge of uncertainty, shared a piece of Elven lore: a belief that, at the dawn of time, elves had been born from Yggdrasil itself, tasked with the noble mission of safeguarding the Aria's natural life. This was a belief held by many, particularly in the central Elven kingdom that encircled the World Tree.

However, as an inheritor of this royal bloodline, she couldn't help but maintain a degree of scepticism. She questioned the veracity of the ancient legend. If the legend held any truth, shouldn't Ryan's Pocket World now produce elves, guardians of the natural world, just as Yggdrasil had initially spawned them?

Their exchange of ideas was wrapped in the awe and mystique of their surroundings, the newly formed World Tree bearing silent witness to their quest for understanding. Meanwhile, Ryan was filled with curiosity regarding Elora's background as a Royal Elf, but it appeared to be a touchy subject.

Looking past it, they contemplated the implications of their achievement. As they did, realisation dawned upon them: they stood on the precipice of unlocking the extraordinary potential of the Pocket World.

-

Diving deeper into their newfound creation, Elora and Ryan began to explore the profound connection they each held with the World Tree they had birthed within Ryan's Pocket World. Their experiences, while distinct, carried the promise of untold power and knowledge.

For Elora, it was a peculiar connection that melded the newly formed World Tree with Yggdrasil, the ancient source of Elven magic and wisdom. She sensed the branches of the transcendent connection, one foot in each realm, forging a unique bond that even the wise elves of her homeland could not fathom.

In contrast, Ryan's connection took on an entirely different hue. It was a connection marked not by symbiosis but by ownership, a sensation of dominion over the budding World Tree. The resonance he felt was a potent reminder of his role as the proprietor of the world within a world, a role that extended to the new entity they had brought to life.

The promise of the creation, and the power it could grant them, piqued their curiosity. They mused over the immense potential the World Tree held and how it might elevate their capabilities. The idea that the Mana Ring might unlock the door to real Elven Magic, using the World Tree as the wellspring, excited Ryan.

He also couldn't help but envision even more possibilities.

With the ability to access his Pocket World at will, the very essence of Elven Magic could become a part of his arsenal. Moreover, the newfound power extended beyond the confines of the pocketed space; he could harness the World Tree's energy wherever he pleased through his Mana Ring, a portable source of power.

Elora, caught up in the awe of the situation, had never even dreamt such a concept could exist. She could also draw upon the latent magic within the World Tree, sparse but gradually budding, mirroring the development of Ryan's Pocket World.

Their newfound insights prompted action. Elora reached into her Spatial Bag, retrieving a collection of sacred Elven Magic books. She entrusted them to Ryan, her eyes urging caution.

"Keep these books within the cabin," she advised, her tone laced with the gravity of her Elven heritage. "Ensure no one enters here without absolute trust. These books..."

"I understand," Ryan nodded solemnly. "They are treasures to your kind, and I will study them with the utmost respect, returning them when we meet again."

In a heartwarming moment, their hands interlocked in a silent promise, and they transitioned back to Akegria Forest, their connection to the newly born World Tree ever present in their thoughts.

Returning to the ancient woods, something struck Ryan like a bolt from the blue. A realisation, profound and humbling, now loomed on the horizon.

-

Usually, Elora would respond to Ryan's bouts of distraction with a sharp shake or a stern call to bring him back from his mental wanderings. But this time was different. A peculiar intensity had gripped Ryan, an almost electric current of anticipation and understanding that buzzed around him like a nimbus. As he drifted into his thoughts, Elora allowed him the moment, sensing that something profound was on the cusp of revelation.

Moments ticked by, and then, in an eruption of joy and astonishment, Ryan catapulted into the air. His excitement was palpable, his words a torrent of newfound comprehension.

"I can do it myself!" he exclaimed, eyes gleaming with fervour.

Elora, bewildered by his sudden outburst, furrowed her brow. "What are you talking about?"

"You were about to guide me to a portal, right? To return to Earth?"

Elora nodded slowly, her curiosity piqued, unsure of where Ryan was leading with this peculiar outburst.

With animated enthusiasm, Ryan raced to explain, his words tumbling over each other in his haste. "I realised something after my journeys to and from my Pocket World. By placing a marker, a Spatial Marker, I can create a rift in space, a gate to traverse long distances and even separate spaces. When I travelled to and from my Pocket World, I instinctively used these Spatial Markers. So, what if I used my home on Earth as the destination? A marker for Earth!"

"But, Ryan, you didn't place a Spatial Marker initially. Isn't that risky? You could end up..."

"True," Ryan interrupted, his expression a mix of trepidation and determination. "I could end up somewhere entirely unintended, teleporting into someone else's home or a different corner of Aria, or maybe even other worlds if they exist. But I can't help but believe it's possible, especially if I…" He trailed off, the answer shimmering just beyond his reach. Then, in a sudden rush of realisation, he exclaimed, "That's it!"
