Chapter 5 Sasuke's Plan, Find Out The Truth Yourself!

Uchiha Fugaku spoke, "That's a Konoha history book published by the clan, but it was banned by the village." He had secretly kept a copy for himself. He never expected it to be discovered by Sasuke from another world.

Sarutobi Hiruzen's expression shifted. In the village, various major ninja clans had published historical books. He had banned them, and the ninja school only used the history textbooks compiled by the village. Surprisingly, Sasuke from another world had chanced upon a copy. Anbu should have thoroughly searched the Uchiha clan. They had already seized some vital items, like the Forbidden Technique scroll.

As the Uchiha clan patriarch, Uchiha Fugaku's home was naturally scrutinized by Anbu. Yet, they overlooked this "banned book". On reflection, it's understandable. It's just a book; how significant can Anbu consider it to be?

"It's just a book, and reading it shouldn't have much impact," Sarutobi Hiruzen reassured himself.

In the chat room, Hatake Kakashi remarked, "That Sasuke seems very interested in this book." Uzumaki Naruto responded, "A history book? What nonsense. Why would that Sasuke care about it..." Orochimaru interjected, "Heh, that's interesting. I'm growing increasingly curious about this Sasuke's future."

Many were puzzled by this interest. It's just a book, after all. What could it reveal? Instead of reading, it would be better to train hard and aim for early success in revenge.

In the quiet new residence, Sasuke closed his eyes and concentrated on his thoughts. "What can I be certain of now?" he pondered. "The first point involves Uchiha Itachi. The kind brother versus the power-hungry maniac who killed his parents and slaughtered our family. At least one of them is a facade."

"The second concerns the truth about the genocide. Since Itachi shifted from caring brother to heartless killer overnight, it means... it means that appearances can be deceiving!"

If the gentle and good brother Itachi could become untrustworthy so suddenly, then no one in the village, no matter their facade, could be trusted completely. What is the truth behind the genocide? If he couldn't believe Itachi's side of the story, neither could he trust anyone else's.

With this thought, Sasuke started to tremble. After all, he was only seven years old. At such an age, accepting this harsh truth was immensely challenging. No one could be trusted. Glancing up, he didn't know whom to rely on in the entire village. Such isolation was overwhelming.

Namikaze Minato marveled, "It's quite impressive that he can come to such realizations at the age of seven!" He had been hailed a genius since childhood, but when it came to mental maturity, he felt far surpassed by the Sasuke from the parallel world.

Namikaze Minato considered to himself that he couldn't have done what Sasuke did at that same age if he had been in a similar situation.

Uchiha Mikoto lamented, "Sasuke's future is burdened with difficulties."

Uchiha Fugaku remarked, "This is Sasuke's destiny. He is already embroiled in it. It would have been preferable for him to think of this earlier. As his parents, we have no option other than to offer our blessings."

Sasuke, in the real world, was in a daze, wondering why he never thought the way he did in the parallel world. He pondered over Uchiha Itachi's sudden change in temperament and questioned which version was authentic. The truth about the clan's annihilation and whom to trust were thoughts he had never considered.

He realized, "Apart from training, perhaps it's important to pause occasionally and contemplate our own fate."

Sasuke couldn't escape the reflection that not everything others say should be believed, as the trustworthiness of others is uncertain.

The scene shifted to the live broadcast room.

"Sasuke opened his eyes."

"After establishing the previous points, the next steps become evident:"

"First, in everyday life, endeavor to assess and verify the trustworthiness of each individual."

"Second, engage in extensive reading, exploring various texts to personally uncover the truth about the genocide incident."

"Since absolute trust in everyone is impossible, discovering the truth necessitates independent reading and contemplation."

"Of course, these are steps to uncover the truth."

"Besides this, focus on cultivation."

"I must not only discern the truth but also possess the power to seek vengeance."

"Sasuke's eyes grew deep and spirited."

"The spiritual fire, nearly extinguished last night, is reignited at this moment, burning even more fiercely!"

"I will depend on myself to uncover the truth and gain the strength for revenge!" Sasuke resolved secretly.

Fourth Raikage expressed disbelief, "He's a mere seven-year-old child determined to discover the truth on his own."

Ohnoki was indignant, "It's preposterous! I, the esteemed Tsuchikage, cannot unravel the mystery of the Uchiha genocide, yet he intends to do it himself!"

Orochimaru chuckled, "Ah, geniuses certainly stand apart."

Senju Hashirama celebrated, "The village is fortunate to have such formidable youngsters."

Senju Tobirama conceded, "Though it concerns the malicious Uchiha, I must acknowledge this child's genius."

Sasuke's eyes, tinged with envy, indicated that his Sharingan was close to being activated.

He was affected by the commendations from former Hokage and leaders of other villages for his parallel world counterpart, mere seven years of age.

"Sasuke opened the 'Konoha History' book published by the Uchiha clan, his expression grave."

"To discover the truth, I'll start by earnestly studying history!"
