It's been a few months since I arrived at the Royal Academy alongside little Magnus. Every day here is so exciting and fun. I get to play and read as much as I want. The food here is so~ delicious that I even cry sometimes remembering my old bland food. I have my own room which is very comfortable. It does not get cold at night or hot during the day. It's so~ good that I always fall asleep~ hehe good thing there is no matron here scolding for every little thing.

But I'm not stupid enough to not know why I have all this. It's all because of little Magnus.

Should I even call him little, now? I mean I have noticed how mature he has become ever since that accident. First I just thought he became more serious because of his close encounter with death since I have read in a book that near-death experiences can give one a life clarity that can fundamentally change them.

But as I interacted with him more I realised how much he has changed, making me wonder if even a near-death experience can change someone this much.

He wasn't the same little Magnus who used to play or fool around with other kids any free time he got between chores. I remember he became good with chores just so he could play more. But now… now he used every waking moment studying and training himself. He still jokes around and talks with me like he used to but it become rarer. Most of our times are fleeting as he comes late at night and goes out early in the morning. I only get to meet him when he brings me food from the cafeteria which I know is not allowed but little Magnus is so~ talented that no one stops him.

He's like a Royalty in the school that everyone wants to meet please because his talent is comparable to the current King. The KING!!!

It's so~ amazing. Little Magnus is so~ amazing.

I always get jealous gazes from other servants because of my closeness with him which I try my best to ignore.

Magnus also teaches me every once in a while and solves any problems I stumble upon while reading the book.

He's so~ kind and each day becoming cuter and cuter. His golden hair has gotten so~ silky and lustrous that even I became jealous sometimes. His blue eyes shine with a sparkle that even the most precious of stones on those pompous noble's clothes get overshadowed.

Proper diet and healthy food have filled his once-skinny body and daily exercise has made it very toned

I even saw many older students gushing at him and whispering how he'd become just as handsome as the current crown prince. And I can't help but agree.

Magnus will definitely become very handsome and a very important person in future. So I also try my best to embarrass him in public.

I have already read many books on how to behave, act and talk with high born as a servant. I even asked older servants, and maids, to teach me to cook, clean, and other duties a servant needs to know to serve a high-born.

I hardly doubt Magnus would ever let me do maid duties. My Magnus is too~ kind.

He never asked me for any servant jobs. That's why I have to always look for things he might need me to do like cleaning the dorm room so he does not need to. Washing his clothes, arranging his books according to the syllabus. Cooking him a night meal or dinner like nobles call it because he always exits the library when it closes and the cafeteria also closes by that time.

I always cook for him and wait for him to return but most of the time I fall asleep because he comes very late at night.

Speaking of coming late at night, I have noticed Magnus has started coming even later at night. It worried me so one night I forced myself to stay awake and what I saw made me almost cry. Magnus came back covered in blood and many wounds. I asked him what happened but he just gave me a smile and told me to not worry and go back to sleep.

I didn't.

I asked him many times but he didn't budge. He took a bath and changed into a new set of clothes and burned the bloodied ones.

It made me wonder how many times he had done the same.

Magnus then ate the food I made and went to sleep. I wanted to nurse his wounds but he waved me off saying they would heal by tomorrow.

And heal they did.

The next few days I stayed awake and saw him returning with wounds similar to that day or even graver. I always tried to question him but he always waved me off and said to get concerned with this since he was just training.

I almost scoffed at his nonchalant words. He thinks I'm stupid enough to believe those claws and bite marks come from training. But in the end, I didn't say anything and silently kept observing.

This continued for a few months till one day Magnus didn't return. I started to get worried and thought of approaching the senior student who has good relations with Magnus.

But before I could I heard noise outside the dorm room.

Sprinting fast I quickly opened the door and saw Magnus lying on the doorstep. His stomach was split open with blood overflowing. I can even see his guts spilling. I bit my lips to stop myself from screaming.

I carefully lifted him and brought him inside. I placed him on the couch and started cleaning his wounds using sterile saline. Once cleaned I quickly started to dress the wound.

I have started to learn how to nurse wounds ever since I first saw him returning with wounds. I know he heals very fast since there are no wounds on him by the next day but I always fear he might receive a wound his natural healing could not heal. And looking at his wound not healing my fear has come true.

It did not take me long to recognise why he's not healing. I have read too many medical books to not do so otherwise.

His wounds have the spiritual aura of a Tier-2 primaeval beast. But the thing is only primaeval beasts of Tier-2 and above can use aura to prevent regeneration. Some special Tier-1 can also do the same.

But regardless of what Tier beast wounded Magnus, it did not change the fact that he could survive a Tier-2, Tier-1 special primaeval beast while not being a cultivator himself.

This makes hesitant to ask for aura cleansing pill from the infirmary. I don't think Magnus wants other people to know he can fight a Tier-2 primeaval beast. Not even the current king could claim to do the same.

"Aghh!" But all my thoughts and consideration evaporated when I heard Magnus's painful groan. I steeled my resolve and quickly sprinted towards the infirmary. I don't have much time I have barely slowed down his bleeding since nothing I did stopped it.

I ran as fast as I could but before I could even exit the dorm building someone stopped me.

Looking back impatiently I saw one Magnus classmate coldly looking at me.

What was her name, again? Ahh yes! Elaine Fairychild.
