A paralysing shock struck the party, causing their hearts to skip a beat as the creature fully emerged from the broken ice. The party fixed their eyes on Ryuji, who rushed at the monster with his glowing axe. The axe shone with a bloody light while their minds struggled to comprehend the horror standing before them.
A huge humanoid frog with two long tentacles hanging from its face like a catfish stood over two metres tall. It was much larger than the other frogmen, with a small crown fixed upon his head. The monster's eyes seemed to twitch as its maw revealed a large, toothy smile.
Ryuji sprinted with all his strength. The force and momentum of his upward strike caused a loud howl. The blood axe's power grew with each step as the monster leaned down to take a bite out of Erika. He couldn't control his anger, irritation and erratic breathing after seeing Erika wounded.
He rushed forward in a berserk stake, using everything to attack.
