Rohan's POV
I couldn't shake off the feeling of excitement and nervousness as I thought about my plan. I was going to make Valerie my second mate, and I knew it wouldn't be easy. But I was determined to make it happen.
I had already failed her once, but I wasn't going to let that happen again. I was going to do everything in my power to prove myself to her, to show her that I was worthy of her love and trust.
I started making a mental list of all the things I needed to do. First, I needed to talk to my pack, to let them know that I had found my true mate and that I would be taking a second mate. I knew some of them might not understand, but I was the alpha, and I had to follow my heart.
Next, I needed to find a way to win Valerie's trust back. I knew I had hurt her deeply, but I was willing to do whatever it took to make it right. I would give her space, let her come to me when she was ready.
