"No, but before passing out that man said something about keeping our powers a secret. I have a feeling he's been following and watches us for a while."
"Could he be one of our classmates?"
"I don't think so, this guy had way too much experience and knowledge for it to be one of our classmates."
"Ok so then what reason does he have to follow us."
"They only reason I can think of is because we not only lived that dungeon, but we cleared it. We probably weren't supposed to be strong enough to clear it yet. On top of that we cleared it with just the 2 of us."
"I guess that's true."
"We need to hurry and make it to Tetrine. Once there we can disappear and blend in. It'll make it harder to watch our every move."
"But your injury, you can barely stand up with that."
"Yes you're right. It'll be a nuisance. Once my wound heals then we can go. Though it may be a while."
"Actually I can feel whatever he did to it is slowly fading. I wanna say I'll be able to heal it in about 3 days or so."
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Yes. He may of beaten us badly but he spared our lives. I don't think he's necessarily our enemy."
Come to think of it, I should be dead with a wound this serious. I'm guessing he purposely missed my vital points. *Tsk* Friend my ass. He's definitely toying with us. Showing just how much stronger than us he is. It's fine though. He'll regret letting us live. I'll make sure of that.
"I'll go get stuff for camp, you stay here."
"Are you fine on your own."
"Yes I am. Promise."
"If you're ok with it then I am too."
"Look at you being such a great husband and worrying about me."

"I'm just messing with you. I'll be back in 30 minutes or so."

Huh. Where am I
Arthur looked around everywhere only to see that he's been swallowed by the dark abyss of nothingness.
"AAAAAGGHHH!!!"
Huh? A scream
"ARTHUR HELP ME!!!"
It's Ana!
"Hold on Ana I'm coming!"
Arthur arrives to the scene where he sees the mask man holding Ana by the throat
"You put her down now!"
"Or what? What do you hope to accomplish. You're nothing. Just a small insect that I step on."
Arthur in a fury rushes the man
In a blink, the man had taken down Arthur, it wasn't even seeable to the human eye.
"You see. You're weak, and now I'm going to show you what happens to people who are weak."
The man pulls his sword out and gets ready to impale Ana with it.
"Stop. Don't do this please."
"Should've been stronger Arthur. Now you'll pay the repercussions."
"DON'T!!!!"
*Splash*
Arthur sat there and watched as the man impaled Ana. The man dropped Ana's lifeless body and walked away.
"Can't wait to see how much stronger you'll become Arthur."
Arthur sat there for a second.
"AAAAANNNNNNAAAAAA!!!!!!"
Arthur's eyes shot open. His arm reached out. He was pale. His hand now covering his face.
Another one of those dreams. That's the third one.
Ana arrives back to the campsite
"Arthur? You ok?"
Ana rushes over to Arthur as she noticed the state he was in
"What happened. You're pale, and you're head, you're burning up.
"It's fine. I must be tired that's all."
I can't have Ana worrying
"I'll make food quickly then you can hurry right off to bed."
Moments later
"This food looks good"
"Of course it does! I was trained under the sensei herself."
"Yes of course, how could I forget."
Arthur and Ana finished eating and went straight to bed.
…
"Hey Arthur you still awake"
"Yea"
"Are we going to be ok. We never know when that man will attack us again and with how strong he is, compared to us, he could kill us both easily."
"We'll be fine. Don't lose sleep over this. I'll keep a look out until you fall asleep."
"I'm happy to have you by my side Arthur."
Ana dozed of to sleep
I will protect you Ana. No matter what I must do.
4 days go by
"You ready to head out"
"Yea lemme just grab one more thing."
Ana grabs her necklace and they begin their journey to Tetrine
"Hey so why is that necklace so important to you? You have it on every time I see you."
"It was my mother's. She gave it to me as a gift."
Ana paused for a moment
"Then the next day she and my brother died in a car crash."
"Sorry. That was rude of me."
"Not your fault silly. How could you have known after all."
"Yea I guess. I just feel bad for asking."
"It's fine trust. It was a long time ago."
That look on your face says other wise
"If you insist"
"Anyway, what about you? Did you have family back in our world?"
"Nope. None that cared about me at least."
"Oh. Uh…"
An awkward silence filled the air
"AAAAAAHHH!!! SOMEONE HELP!"
Ana and Arthur startled by the sudden scream
"What was that?"
"Dunno but let's go check it out"
Ana and Arthur rush over to where the scream came from. When they arrive they found a woman there getting attacked by a pack of wolves. They quickly hide behind a near by bush.
"Arthur we have to do something" Ana whispered
"What? Why?"
"What do you mean why? Cause she's gonna die if we don't"
"Did you already forget that I said we need to stay under the radar. This isn't our problem"
"You said once we get to Tetrine we need to blend in. I don't see us in Tetrine yet."
"Look, there are rankers here to help."
"Don't worry mam, we'll protect you."
The group of rankers all attack the wolves only to be wiped out in seconds
"What rank were those guys anyway."
"I'm going in"
"Ana wait!"
Ana rushes in
"Don't worry mam your safe."
I don't think she trusts those words considering the last guys said the same thing
The wolves attack Ana however unlike the rankers she takes the wolves out in seconds
Woah. When could Ana fight like that
"Here mam lemme help you up."
"Look out!" the woman shouted
There was a wolf still alive that was now about to attack Ana
This is bad. I don't have enough time to react
*Slice*
The head of the wolf flew
"Now what would've you done if I wasn't here to save you."
"Good thing you were here" Ana said smiling
*Blushing* "Y-yea well that's ideological thinking. Anyways mam are you ok."
"Y-yes I think so."
"Ok just make sure you're more careful next time."
Arthur looks to Ana
"There see she's fine now let's go."
"Wait!" the woman screamed out
"I-If y'all wouldn't mind I would love to make dinner for you for saving my life"
"GLADLY!"
"That sure was a change of heart"
"Rule #1, they offer free food, you gladly take."
"Well I wouldn't know."
"Oh yea. Ms. Rich girl"
"Whatever"
"Y'all are such a cute couple."
"I-I don't know about-"
"Yea we are! Don't mind him, he's shy when it comes to things like our undying love for each other."
"Undying love!?"
The woman then giggles
Well at least she's in a better mood.
They all walk with the woman to her house
"Here just let me unlock the door."

"Btw, does the name Mary mean anything to you two?"
Ana and Arthur's eyes widened
