Synopsis
About the book There was a rich man whose name was Johnson, he had many Filling stations, house and many car. But he didn't have any child and he was worried about been childless. One of his friends took him and his wife to a native doctor. And the native doctor told them what to do so that they could give birth and they did as they were instructed and gave birth to a baby boy and named him Laughter. Laughter grew up and end up as a cult member in both secondary school and his higher institution. During his studies in higher institution, his cult members vs their rival fought a serious fight and upon all the charm Laughter had, he was defeated and he died during the fight. When Mr Johnson and his wife had it they became sad and they were worried. Another Friend of Mr Johnson saw how Mr Johnson was worried and he advice him to look for a kidnapper that will get a baby for them and he followed the advice. The kidnappers went to search for the baby they were asked to kidnapp and they face so many challenges before the baby boy was handed to Mr Johnson. They fought seriously with the police but at the end of the day they escaped.

Mr Johnson In the hospital

Mr Johnson was a very wealthy man he owns many Filling station in different states, he owns houses and cars.

He has only one son whose name was Junior. He lost his wife when he was 85 years old and he decided not to marry anyone till the point of dead because he was old. He has a house maid who stay with him.

When he was at the age of 91 years, he developed a particular health issue which was chest pain, so he bought some medicine at a pharmacy and used it as prescribed by the pharmacist but the condition didn't get any better, therefore he decided to visit a hospital.

When he got to the hospital, he complained to the Doctor. And he was given some medicine in the hospital after running series of tests on him. So he went home to use them.

The pain left him for a while but returned not long after. And he went back to the hospital again to complain. This time around, he was advised by the attending doctor to stay in the hospital so that they could find out the actual thing that was causing the heart pain and give out the solution.

Mr Johnson heed the words of the doctor and decided to stay in the hospital while his son Junior always came to check on him. Later Junior decided to stay with him through out the day.

On the first day he stayed at the hospital, one of the doctors ran a test on Junior's father and handed him a list of drugs, syringe, hand gloves and other things that he was going to use for the treatment on a piece of paper.

And Junior went to confirm the total price so that he could foot the bill.

Junior got back to the hospital with the list of drug & other prerequisites in his hand and went to meet his dad.

"Daddy I have gotten the price for the drug, but the price is too much oh!"

"Let me take a look at the list responded his father . He collected and glance through the prices on the list.

"What! #950, 000. Ehh! But this is just my first day of being hospitalized and I am asked to pay this huge sum? And if I do not buy what is in the list, I would risking my life. I now know what God has been doing in my life. Not that I don't have the money, I have enough and I will spend it for me to be saved, but I was just wondering what God has done In my life ever since the day I was born till now. And I have not ever given God a tithe of #950,000 In my life, for his provisions protection and other things he has done for me. God is great, but now for me to be saved in the hospital I was ask to pay the sum of 950,000 for drug only just for the first day in the hospital. No problem. Junior take my phone and go and send the money so as to foot the bills."

"Ok sir," said Junior. He picked up the phone, went to the Pharmacy and transferred the sum of money to the pharmacist's account and came back with the drug in a customised poly bag.

Mr Johnson lost his wife five years earlier and decided not to marry another woman till date.

The Doctor later discovered that he had cancer of the chest and he informed his son.

When Junior heard this he was shocked and he told his father that he would like to go to the pastor and pray concerning the issue of the Cancer. Then Mr Johnson told him to go Immediately.

Junior went to the pastor as he said then he prayed over the issue and the pastor told him not to worry that the Lord would take control. And the pastor came to visit his father in the hospital and prayed for him.

Many of their relations and friends came to visit him and they supported him financially.

The following week, the Doctor started supplying Mr Johnson Oxygen artificially in order to survive, after carrying out another test.

Mr Johnson later told Junior where his land documents were and told him to take care of it and use it wisely. Mr Johnson owned many fueling stations In some states.

He also had houses in some states so he handed everything in the care of Junior. Then he told Junior to call his Lawyer so that he could sign on all his documents before it got too late.

And Junior did as he was told by his daddy and he signed where the Lawyer ask him to sign in the documents and the Lawyer left them in the hospital.

The next morning, Mr Johnson gave up the ghost. Junior was very sad when he noticed that his father had died. So they prepared for his burial arrangements and proceeded to burying him.

Junior was a final year student in school when his dad died in the hospital. He had a girlfriend since when he got to 200 level, her name was Simbi. Simbi was in the same department with Junior.

She always tell Junior that she wanted to know his parents and he should also know her parents too, but Junior was of the habit of postponing the dates they agreed on to do those, due to the fact that he did not want her to know that his dad was a wealthy man while he was pretending to be poor in school before Simbi and everyone.

Before his Youth service days ended, he finally told Simbi that it was time for him to know her parents. Simbi was very happy when she heard this.

Then he told Simbi about his late father and how he was pretended to be poor in school so as to know the people who truly loved him.

When Simbi got home, she told her parents that the person she wished to marry wanted to visit them.

Then Simbi Parents agreed to it and they gave her some words of advice on how she would live peacefully with her husband and how she was to handle it when her husband had enough and when he didn't have. And they made her know that there are ups and downs in marriage .

Simbi hailed from a poor family that was managing a room and parlour which was rented out to them. Her father's name was Saul while her mother's Ada.

"I will come to visit you this Sunday," said Junior.

"Ok I shall be expecting you," said Simbi.

On the fateful Sunday afternoon, Junior visited as promised. He met the parents of Simbi and Simbi herself in the parlour.

The parlour was hot so Saul decided to go and put on the generator and went back to the parlour. Junior and Simbi were sitting on a three sitter while Saul and Ada sat on a separate single chair.

Saul cleared his throat. "What is your name?"

"My name is Junior."

"Good, my daughter told me that she would like to introduce her husband to us and I believe that's you."

"Yes sir," answered Junior.

"Alright, how is your dad and mum?"

"They are late."

"Ehya sorry oh!" Tobi said with pity.

"How are you now coping?"

"Well, God has been sustaining me."

"Ok, what do you do for a living?"

"Am still a copper sir," Junior replied.

"Alright I pray that God will Provide for you good job after your service year."

"Amen," Junior answered.

"What course did you study at school."

"I studied Civil Engineering

"Nice one, where do you live?"

"I live at festac town."

"Whaoh! That is an estate," said Saul as he was surprised.

"sir, that is the house my dad left for me before he died," said Junior.

"Ok, make sure you do not sell it oh! but rather maintain it," Saul advised him with gladness.

"Ok sir, thank you for your advice," said Junior.

"Lest I forget, are you sure you want to marry my daughter?" Asked Saul.

"Yes sir, am very sure," Junior replied.

"When do you think we should hold the wedding ceremony for you both?"
