I woke up still feeling sore and a little hungry. I noticed that the TV was put back to the original spot.
"Huh, someone must have came in at some point while I was asleep... I don't even remember falling asleep... I wonder who was in here...." I think to myself as I stare at the bed aimlessly.
After a few minutes I hear someone walk in, I look over and see Dr. Aikujin. "Good to see you awake Mr. Kinojin, you have a visitor" he says calm, and smiling just as the day before.
"Please just call me kiyosho, or kiyo for short... I don't really like it when people are formal with me, it brings back memories...." I replied with, staring at the floor. I look up slightly and noticed him nod, let the visitor in and then leave.
The visitor looked like a young adult man, kinda around my age. He had a light brown but reddish natural hair color, his hair was short, his eyes looked bright and lively, a pretty dense deep blue. He wore a pair of light blue, lose jeans on, with a while shirt and a black, fabric jacket on top.
Instantly he walked in and bowed. "I'm really sorry that your hurt! I swear I didn't mean to hit you!" He says then stands straight back up.
"His voice... Sounds familiar...." I think to myself then get a bit lost in though for a moment. "Oh yeah .. he was the guy trying to reach me before I passed out..."
"See what happened was, the rain made my car go outta control, then there was a druncj driver who hit the back of my car making it go even faster... By the time the light turned red and I regained control... The car.... It hit you.... I try to check to see if you were ok but the police and medic's wouldn't let me though... Again I'm really sorry...."
"That was a lot ..."
"Oh I'm sorry"
"You say sorry alot... But it's okay.... Dying doesn't feel all that bad... Just why do you care so much on it.. ?" I added in a calm mood set "not like my life matters really anyway..." I thought
"What do you mean...?"
"Like I'm going to die someday anyway, then later on through the generations people will forget all about me so... It not like it matters so why do you care...?"
"I care because it's dose matter, whether people remember you or not, and I will prove it to you some day, whether it's with help or not, I'm gonna show you great things that will make you care about your life in a different way."
"His mood just completely changed... To dead set serious.... Well, I know he probably can't actually change my mind so let's see how far this will go.. why not..." I thought to myself as I slightly shrugged. "Alright... Don't get your hopes up thought..."
"Oh! That reminds me! I got you a gift" he says with a smile. He took a store looking plastic bag out of his pocket. He walked over to me with the bag in his hand, the handles of the bag tied closed, and set it on my bed beside me for me to open.
"I don't really remember ever really getting gifts in my life... So... Why would he waste his money for a total stranger... Why for me of all people.... I don't even know his name, I don't even think he really knows my name...." I thought as I stared at the bag. I slightly looked up and saw him just smiling at me.
"Go on, you can open it" he said happily. I look back town at the bag, with a slight childish light in my eyes, the stranger notices this and watches me with curiosity.
"He looks happy, even though he isn't smiling... His eyes are kinda... Brighter and innocent looking in a sense.... Has he never received a gift or something..? Maybe he's a grateful person, well either way glad it made him happy, whether he likes it or not" the stranger though as he watched me open my gift. When I unravel the bag I find a little black teddy bear inside it has pink and yellow stars on it with blue crescent moons scattered though out it, it's nose is white and the left leg as well as if the designer ran out of black fabric half way through.
"I know it's not much but I hope you like it" the stranger says to me. After I hear him talk I hug the small teddy bear, hiding my mouth, and tucking my knees slightly closer to me as I stare at the blanket.
"Thank you.... I... I love it.... My name is kiyosho.. you can always call me kiyo though.. if you want"
"Kiyo, nice! Glad you like the gift! My name is hioko ashuko, nice to meet you. Let's be friends!" Hioko said cheerfully.
"Mmm.... No-" I tried to say but got interrupted.
"Oh that sounds fun, could I join? We could always make it a friend group" Dr.aikujin asked with a bit of a chuckle.
"No-" I got interrupted again by hioko.
"For sure!"
"Guys... It's not even a friend group! I never agreed to this!" I said a bit tired of being interrupted.
"Awh, but you did agree to my deal.. so... Let's just say you are here now, bound to this friendship!" Hioko said as if he was mimicking some sort of old poet or king from a movie.
"No."
"Come on now, kiyo... It can't be to bad, yeah? Just give it a shot... One chance, that's all we ask" Dr. Aikujin sayed, In a calm, gentle voice, with the same meaningful brightness and smile to him.
"You guys are a real pain you know that..."
"So you agree?" Hioko said looking like he was about to start jumping up and down in excitement.
"Fine ... Whatever... " I said a bit grumpy as I turned my head slightly to the right to look away.
"Yay! Thank you kiyo! Thank you aikujin for convincing him!" I glance over and see them happy. Dr. Aikujin had a calm, sweet, happy, gentle smile as he watched kioko, and hioko started talking and almost acted as a child in a sense.
"Well, anyway, I just came by to tell Mr. Hioko here the visitor hours are over now, and that you have to eat your breakfast now, that is if your hungry?" Dr. Aikujin sayed nicely as both of them just stared at me. I turned my head away slightly again and gave a slight nod.
"Yes please...." They both smiled, hioko said his goodbye and left as Dr. Aikujin brought me my food. It was a plate of potatoes, peas, a vannila pudding and some chicken nuggets, with a strawberry milk. It made me feel a bit childish but I was glad and grateful, ate it and the rest of the day I essentially watched a few more episodes of ahowa as normal.
