One year later...
The sun shone brightly through the castle's high windows, its golden rays illuminating the bustling chaos of Riley's sitting room. I stood there, hands on my hips, surveying the disaster before me. Rhiannon and Rowena, Riley's one-year-old twin daughters, were at it again.
Rhiannon was halfway across the room, giggling uncontrollably, her little brown-and-red-streaked curls bouncing as she dashed behind the sofa except, of course, she wasn't fully visible.
Her magic, allowed her to turn parts of her body invisible. At the moment, only her head and one arm were visible, making her look like a floating giggle with a hand flapping about.
Rowena, her fiery counterpart, was perched on top of a table, holding a candlestick in one chubby fist. Her vibrant red hair caught the sunlight like flames, perfectly matching the tiny, invisible fire she'd conjured on the end of the candlestick.
