With our arrows lodged tightly in the bullseye, the crowd was abuzz with excitement. It wasn't every day two sisters, especially two humans, dominated a demon realm archery contest.
The announcer, clearly swept up in the excitement, boomed into the crowd, "Looks like we have a tie! But we can't leave without crowning a winner!"
He gestured for a final target to be brought out. It was nearly the size of a coin and placed even farther than the last, swaying slightly in the distance.
The crowd gasped as it was positioned. It looked impossibly small, the slightest breeze rippling through the air, adding to the challenge. I glanced over at Riley, who seemed as calm and poised as ever, her fingers drumming idly against her bow.
"You ready to lose?" she teased, her smirk accompanied by a wink.
I returned her grin, feigning confidence. "You know me, Riley. I love a challenge."
She chuckled, rolling her shoulders back. "You're on, little sister."
