I woke up to the sound of something warm and heavy breathing next to my face. It was, of course, Ignis, curled up against my pillow. His soft snores filled the room, but it wasn't long before he stirred and began flopping around on the bed, his tail slapping against my leg.
Aurelia groaned beside me, half-asleep. "I think your dragon has no respect for personal space."
I chuckled softly, though part of me agreed. "Ignis, behave," I muttered, trying to push him off gently, but he wriggled stubbornly and stayed nestled between us.
Aurelia stretched, her body brushing against mine, as she whispered, "I guess he's trying to make sure we're up. It's probably breakfast time."
It wasn't long before Ignis decided to fully embrace his role as morning alarm, attempting to nip at my ear playfully and rolling on the bed in exaggerated motions. Aurelia grabbed a pillow, holding it over her head. "This is chaos. And it's not even breakfast yet."
