The dinner chaos gradually subsided as Ignis, now full and content, began to nod off in Aurelia's arms. His little dragon body had finally tired out from the evening's antics, and I let out a small sigh of relief as he curled up in Aurelia's lap, tiny snores escaping him.

The servants began clearing away the remnants of the main course, and I noticed the dessert table being prepared.
My favourite strawberry cake stood proudly at the centre, its layers of whipped cream and fresh berries practically calling my name. Aurelia's eyes met mine across the table, and I could tell she had noticed it too.
