The moment we entered Lydia's room, I could already tell what was about to unfold. Ignis, ever the mischievous little creature, was sitting happily on Lydia's shoulder, his eyes gleaming with excitement. I narrowed my eyes at him, already sensing the impending chaos.
"Ignis needs a bath," Lydia said suddenly, eyeing the little dragon critically.
I froze, blinking at her. "A bath?" I repeated, my mind instantly jumping to how much of a terrible idea that sounded. "Have you ever tried to bathe a fire-breathing dragon?"
Lydia looked at me with a mischievous grin. "How bad could it be?"
I crossed my arms and raised a brow, unconvinced. " Just to tell you that last time he got into water? It took us an hour to calm him down, and we almost burned down the stables."
Lydia waved a dismissive hand. "We'll manage. Besides, Ignis is dirty from all that running around during the dinner. He smells like smoked meat."
