Lying in bed, with the faint glow of moonlight streaming through the window, I pulled Lydia close, resting my chin atop her head.
Her scent, familiar and soothing, washed over me, calming the frustrations from earlier. Ignis had finally settled, curled up on the rug near the bed, seemingly satisfied with causing enough chaos for the night.
His tiny dragon snores added a strange rhythm to the night.
